💛Strong, toned arms after 50? Do you like light weights or heavy?
You don’t have to pick one…both can work:
➡️ Lighter weights with more reps help improve endurance, support joint health, and are great for learning form.
➡️ Heavier weights help build muscle, boost bone density, and support your metabolism as you age.
Also, how you move matters! If you’ve only got light weights but want more of a challenge than a standard bicep curl, try these two variations that hit the arms from different angles:
🔥 Lateral Bicep Curl – raise and curl out to the sides (keep neck relaxed)
🔥 V Curl – elbows lifted away from the body in a “V” shape (more isolation = more work!)
Do 12–15 reps for 2–3 sets on non-consecutive days to build strength without overtraining. 💪
Light is relative. Consistency is key. Keep moving, stay strong and know that it’s never too late to feel your best. 💫
